Hello everyone.
I have an official unofficial Teamspeak server for Sponge / Minecraft altogether.
The IP is: talk.jdersen.com (192.95.48.87) [:9987], port not required.
(Thanks @zaza7 )
512 slots
All voice data encrypted
Text chat encrypted using AES.
Server management and file transfer utilities disabled
All Sponge staff can claim a rank on this server. Let me know who you are, and I will verify your identity.
Okay, that’s all for now.
Thanks,
Jake

Good idea, I’ll use it. Is your server DDOS protected? (idk if it’s necessary, Minecraft related sites/projects often attract DDOS attacks).

Yup, standard OVH protection anyway.

Might think about stopping by once in a while. Would be a nice change to IRC once in a while.

Setting up its database and doing some security stuff right now, then I’ll put the IP in the topic post.

My servers teamspeak could be used if needed. mcdreamz.com <-- put that in your teamspeak client. (Yes it’s ddos protected)

I have a good shell for DDoS protection if you’re running Linux, you dont have to do anything but chmod it. I can send it to you if you want.

No thanks. Not unless I can review its code

Check here . I’ve used it for a lot of things and I’ve tested it myself by synflood and other attacks. It holds up enough for a shell, it can help negate it and then whatever else it cant take on it can pass onto the OVH protection you already have.

Note: I just applied for a Teamspeak NPL which will push the user capacity to 500 concurrent.

I really like this, maybe the Sponge staff could set-up something more official later down the road.

Indeed. I can host it for now, but I do have bandwidth limits

I think you may reach that limit.

What’s your bandwith limit? I pay $5/m for 1TB of Bandwith, 768 MB of RAM, and 1 Core of CPU, but you might need more RAM(maybe) so you could up it to the $7/m packagewith 1 CPU, 1024MB RAM, 20GB of storage, and 2TB bandwith(which I used for a game server).
If you’re interested shoot me a PM, I’ll give you a link.
